Cheap @$$ Wine Review

This wine was a Californian Merlot by Barefoot. It was $5 at Target.

My wonderful boyfriend Kasjen (pictured above) picked it up for me after one particularly stressful night at work. This wine was definitely relaxing.

It was slightly dry at first but I warmed up to it. It would be great paired with a nice pasta or chicken dish. This wine is very obviously a classic merlot. It has a strong ripe flavor and a lasting taste. It’s really what I think of when I crave a red wine. It had a full flavor and a sweet natural grape aroma.

This merlot did not make my mouth or teeth purple ((read past posts about this problem)). It was really a wonderful stress relieving wine.

This wine clearly deserves an 8 out of 10. Full flavored. Full color. Full aroma. The only con to this wine was a tinge of dryness but that wore off quickly.
