Cheap @$$ Wine Review 7

He-yo it’s a Mos-ca-to. Can you tell I love a Moscato yet? Well I really do. This specific one is from Beringer from the California collection. It’s a 2010 (just a little baby wine) and costs around $4. I got this one at Walmart on sale. It had a very light fruity smell, which is exactly what I was looking for. It wasen’t as fizzy or bubbly as I normally see in Moscatos. It was extremely light and refreshing.

This bottle had been chilled overnight. I (unlike a lot of other wine-os) enjoy most wine super cold. I know I probably shouldn’t and some sommelier somewhere is probably cursing my name, but cold is just better for me.

True to it’s nature this desert wine would be perfect with anything chocolate or a nice bite of cheesecake. It was very light but full flavored. The alcohol didn’t over-power it (this one actually has a lower alcohol content then a lot of wines). Really the only thing I missed from this wine was a few bubbles. I would definitely recommend this wine as an after dinner delight.

Beringer Moscato gets 8 out of 10 stars from me.
